The 2016 edition of the Annual Blow Molding Conference will take place from October 3 to 5 at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravini, Atlanta (USA). The event, now in its thirty-second edition, has moved from Pennsylvania to Georgia, and namely in Atlanta, the largest city in the South East of the country. With a district GDP generated making it the United States’ 8th largest economy and 17th in the world, Atlanta is the seat of many multinationals – including the producer of the world’s best-known soft drink – in the prestigious Fortune 500 list, who choose it as the location for their regional and national headquarters.

The Annual Blow Molding Conference 2016 will feature speakers from companies operating in the sectors of packaging, medical applications and processing and design of materials. Its mission is to “promote, communicate and disseminate knowledge of the Art and Science of blowing technology”. The program will be complemented by seminars and technical sessions.

The three-day Atlanta event will see SIAD Macchine Impianti’s (SIAD M.I.) participation in the packaging sector, together with its Canada agent and Service Center, i.e. the company Compressors aiR Us, with a stand that will be presenting VITO, the compressor specially designed for blow molding PET bottles and containers. Approaching its second anniversary, VITO has already gained the trust of the market: numerous VITO compressors have been installed, with good prospects for the future, in the mineral water and other sectors. Given the high demand from the international markets, SIAD M. I. has set up the mass production of this compressor, whereas the widening of the range to smaller capacity compressors is already at an advanced testing phase.
