The 24th edition of PROPAK ASIA 2016, the international trade show for packaging and processing technologies for the Food & Beverage industry will take place from June 15 to 18 at the “BITEC International Exhibition Centre” in Bangkok, Thailand. The Bangkok show is one of the events promoted by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN Economic Community) which brings together the main countries in the area: with a total population of over 620 million inhabitants and a combined market worth of $ 2.6 trillion, the AEC is the world’s seventh largest economy and the third largest in Asia, after China and India.

With even more exhibition space than before, this event occupies seven halls with a total area of 45,000 sqm. The theme sectors range from food and beverage processing to pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, measuring instruments, labeling and marking. The figures for this Bangkok trade show are impressive: 1,800 exhibitors from 45 different countries and 14 sections dedicated exclusively to certain countries including Italy. In this context , Australia and Denmark will be at PROPAK ASIA for the first time.

SIAD Macchine Impianti will be at PROPAK ASIA 2016 with VITO, the world’s first compressor range specially designed for blow-moulding PET bottles and containers.
Given the high demand in international markets, SIAD Macchine Impianti recently set up mass production of this new compressor, whereas their new range of smaller compressors is currently in the testing phase.
