The mobile compressor operates even in adverse conditions

11 May 2016

SIAD Macchine Impianti has just delivered four compressors to a leading stated-owned company in Kuwait. The order involves the supply of packages for compressing dry air at approx. 40 bar, TS3 three-stage model. The final destination of the machines will be the plant located in Al-Wafra Farms in the south of the country, on the border with Saudi Arabia. The purpose of the supply is to serve a telemetry site for monitoring users. The equipment is designed to allow the constant and efficient functioning of gas and oil pipelines, whose valves must always function properly.

Development of the project was based on maximum attention in choosing materials suitable for operation in adverse weather conditions, such as those of the desert. The machines will be powered by diesel engines. In fact they will be installed on trucks, so that they can be used when needed, even in the absence of electric power and with an operation autonomy of at least 4 hours. To ensure totally reliable performance, the supply of an equal quantity of dryers is also planned.

With this important contract, SIAD Macchine Impianti consolidates its position as a world leader in air compressors, with about 320 machines installed, and now over 90 units in Kuwait.
