The 2016 edition of the IFME (International Fluid Machinery Exhibition), the international trade fair of the fluid and gas treatment sector, will take place from May 19 to 21 at the International Expo in Jakarta, Indonesia. The event, at its first edition outside China, is organized by the CGMA – China General Machinery Association. Founded in 1989, the CGMA is the only national industrial association of this kind and gathers the manufacturers of a wide range of equipment, from pumps to valves, compressors, air separation units, and much more.

 

The purpose of the event is to promote international cooperation and develop solutions on a global level, in order to stimulate the market. It will also be interesting to follow the discussion on competitiveness: rethinking production strategies also in the light of the overcapacity problems that are found mainly in South East Asia, where structural costs are excessive with respect to expected turnover. There will even be the chance to follow up the commercial strategies known as “One Belt One Road” and the new policies of the National Energy Board.

SIAD Macchine Impianti will be at IFME with their Chinese subsidiary, SIAD Engineering (Hangzhou) Co. Ltd., presenting its complete line of air separation units. It will thus be able to show how it can transfer the quality of advanced Italian technology to the international markets.
