“Passionate tenacity for effective prevention.” This is the slogan (“Passione tenace per la prevenzione efficace”) of AIAS, the Italian Professional Environment and Safety Association, which will meet in SIAD’s Headquarters on May 6, along with the Major Organizations Prevention Club (CPGO).
Founded in 2010 as part of the AIAS, this Association brings together, at least 4 times a year,
managers in the fields of Health, Safety and the Environment from major public and private organizations in Italy and international organizations operating in Italy.

 

The aim of the Association is to establish itself as the most important forum in Italy for connecting and giving voice to large scale organizations who wish to progress together towards more effective emergency prevention strategies. First and foremost, the aim of the CPGO (Club Prevenzione Grandi Organizzazioni) is to facilitate the exchange of expertise in sector organization, management, culture, technology and science. In addition, there is the objective of creating a structured and constant network of reciprocal connection and communication between the Association’s members.

The program for this meeting is rich and varied, and will include less serious moments. An example will be the theatrical simulation of post-accident emergencies. The reports of the Presidents of AIAS and CPGO will be preceded by a talk by Giacomo Rota and Stefano Varisco, both staff members at SIAD, on the subject of industrial accidents and avoiding injuries.

In order to share direct experience of contemporary industrial realities in Italy, the day’s program in Bergamo will include a visit to the SIAD plant in Osio Sopra, just a few kilometers from the city center, and considered to be the world’s most advanced and complete in the gas sector.
