Metaphorically, the engines are warming up in the Gulf of Tigullio for the 21st edition of the legendary SIAD-Bombola d’Oro Cup. It is organized by the Yacht Club Italiano with the partnership of the SIAD Group and the collaboration of the Italian Association of Dinghy 12', the Sailing club Santa Margherita Ligure and the Yacht Club of Rapallo.

The Cup starts next 19th May in the waters of Portofino.

Registrations are officially closed since 15th May. The Cup is the second stage of the historical Dinghy 12’ Coppa Italia. The Dinghy 12’ is one of the oldest singles that nowadays boasts a very large fleet. With over 90 registrations, this edition has a high hope - also because of the wild cards, those who have the possibility to sign up until the day of the competition - to exceed the extraordinary amount of 100 boats in the water.

What will make the Italian dinghists sweat out is also the international presence of the competitors coming from Germany, Austria and Sweden. The regattas are scheduled from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st May. Ready, set, go!
