In June this year, SIAD Macchine Impianti (SIAD MI) celebrated the conclusion of an important contract for the construction of a nitrogen production plant for one of the most prestigious names in the Middle Eastern petrochemical industry: SATORP (Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company) in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

After nearly two years of negotiations, plus developing an offer between meetings and visits to the SIAD MI factory in Italy, the proposal which was originally created in September 2015 was awarded with the contract.

The project was sold directly to the client without the support of an EPC company, thus providing further endorsement of the merits of the proposal.

The plant is expected to be delivered by the third quarter of 2018 and is designed to produce 10,000 Nm3/h of gaseous nitrogen, using the advanced and solid cryogenic technology.
