On November 25^th the 5 “Prof. Quirino Sestini and Dr. Bernardo Sestini” Scholarships of the SIAD Fondazione Sestini have been assigned for 2017. This year’s title of the competition was “Future professions for the person’s health. New materials, new tools”.

The 2018 competition announcement has also been published and its title is “Chemistry in the kitchen, give it a go!”. All the information for the participation is available here. The works must be delivered by June 30, 2018.

Since 2013, the SIAD Sestini Foundation, in collaboration with the Giulio Natta Technical College in Bergamo, promotes five scholarships a year for the students of the College, in memory of Prof. Quirino Sestini and Dr. Bernardo Sestini.

The scholarship initiative intends to contribute to the scientific training of students who, living in a time of rapid technological change, must treat scientific research as an essential part of their personal and professional development.
